Pre-Fitted Pergola's & Pavilions

With the Lathe it's simple and accurate to fit a round peg in a round hole so we utilize this method as our mortise and tenon throughout the structure

With our large hole saws we are able to make precise saddle cuts to incorporate round beams into our structures. The round wall beams are also pinned in place by the post dowels and the rafters also have saddle notches cut in accordingly.

Faceted timbers are a specialty of ours so we utilize a pentagon ridge beam in our pavilions. The 72 degree angle provides a 4-12 slope for the roof and the rafters and king post are neatly dowelled into it.

The Pavilion assembles smoothly like Lego. Stand the posts, set the bottom chords on the dowels, place the round wall beams in the saddles, install the braces, install the king posts, place the ridge beam on the king posts. then install the rafters.

We are just starting the Penta-beam Pavilion as our production model.  We are producing a green cut model from milled timbers.  The production size is 10 ' by 10' post to post square foot print, with a 14'by 14' peaked roof.

We are open and available to produce custom sizes. We have 24' of Lathe .  We offer numerous options for custom orders,  various wood species, Planed or rough sawn, also posts can be square, round, or faceted.  We  can also turn decorative shapes into posts from tapers and radii internal or external to balls and whiskey bottles.
