Solid Aluminum Solar Water Buggies

Our Water Buggies are solid 3/16 aluminum. The trough is 10’ long, 3’ wide, and 16 deep, providing a reservoir approximately 280 gallons. The aluminum design is lightweight, and resists corrosion.

• 440 watt solar panels mounted on hard brackets on 2-1/2” sched 80 pipe with a slotted arc adjuster with a 1/2” bolt makes it very simple and user friendly to adjust the angle. This robust system keeps panels secured when compared with u-bolt mounting. 
• 2-12 volt deep cycle batteries, 60 amp charge controller, float switch relay, 12 or 24 volt float mounted marine bilge pump, 50’ of 1-1/2” clear PVC hose, and buss bars for cleaner, convenient power distribution, and future accessory options. 
• Solid aluminum battery boxes with internally mounted float switches for easier level adjustment, and protection from livestock
• Pin drop down legs for stabilizing the trough. 
• Stow points for the hitch and the tongue jack on the A-frame
• Aluminum covering to protect the wiring inside the support legs
• D-rings on the rear of the buggy for attaching fence panels to protect the water line

We also have larger solar systems with 2 panels, and high lift well pumps
